Was/Is RuneScape worth it?

I've been thinking lately about the whole 2 years and couple months I've spent on playing Runescape, and trying to point out the positives from spending my time on it. Did I just waste 2 years of my teenage life? I wonder if playing this game would have ever benefited me in the future. I was already mature for my age (though some would think otherwise) and I did maintain a social life (again, people would think otherwise with my stats) but the long-lasting benefits.. Is there any?

I mean I used to be one of those people that would disagree with people bashing on Runescape and for people to quit immediately, but now I begin to see that I shouldn't have even touched this game 2 years ago.

Any thoughts from you guys?

Is a great game.

I started playing with my irl buddies a few days ago, with the thought that I wouldn't like it but I guess I was wrong. (As my own opinion, it's definitely wayyyy better than runescape)

I know a member here played it but quit, anyone else?
